Surface Pattern Design

At its core, surface pattern design involves the meticulous arrangement of shapes, colors, and textures to form harmonious compositions that can seamlessly repeat across a surface without visible seams or interruptions. This repetition creates a sense of rhythm and continuity, lending a distinctive character to the final product. My Tropical Tapestry Collection was first inspired by a trip to Hawaii where I fell in love with the vibrant Hawaiian Thai plant. Now planted in my own backyard I also sketched various plants and flowers to build upon each other.  Using various techniques, from hand-drawing and painting, roller printing to digital illustration.  Each design reflects the my own vision and style.
